3D Pioneer Systems Inc. (OTCBB: DPSM), delivered a major announcement on June 11, 2014 when it confirmed the launch of its flagship 3D printing solution, Pioneer Pomade. The company confirmed that Pioneer Pomade will be available in two versions initially, PLA and ABS. 3D Pioneer Systems Inc. (OTCBB: DPSM) also disclosed via the same release, that its 3D printing service available at  www.BeatAny3DPrint.com, made its first sales within 24 hours of first launch. The company said initial feedback from customers have been positive and said reviews could be found on its corporate website.

Other 3D printing companies have seen positive results from the overall sentiments in the sector. 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) witnessed a 3.6% price jump after management disclosed the acquisition of Columbus based Laser Reproductions. The target company is a premier provider of stereolithography services as well as rapid prototyping and product development. The move by 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) is largely consistent with the inorganic growth taking place by players in the 3D printing space.

The big confirmation for growing demand for 3D printing technology was somewhat confirmed by Stratasys, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS). The company reported strong Q2 revenues which were up 67%. Shares in Stratasys, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS) jumped 22% last week and close out the week at a $114 a share. The big jump in revenues was directly attributed to the company’s consumer unit which sells for a lot less than the $15,000 – $17,000 price tag associated with enterprise 3D printing units.

Industry watchers have forecast strong sales growth for 3D printing technology in the coming years. Gartner says in one research report that global sales demand should push shipments of 3D printing units up 49% by the end of 2014. Gartner also predicts that the overall commercial prices of 3D printers will fall as the technology inputs become more widespread. Companies like 3D Pioneer Systems Inc. (OTCBB: DPSM) will potentially benefit from mainstream demand should it take hold according to projections made by research firms like Gartner Inc.
