ParkerVision, Inc.(NASDAQ:PRKR) gained twenty cents to finish the day at a closing price of $1.31. The 18.02% increase in value was accompanied by an after-hours gain of four cents. On Aug. 21st, ParkerVision, Inc.(NASDAQ:PRKR) announced that it had amended its patent infringement complaint to include Samsung Electronics Inc. for four patents related to electromagnetic down-converting systems. As a result, the company’s trading volume spiked to a figure of 6,224,371, which is significantly higher than its three month average of 2,453,760.

Vapor Corp.(NASDAQ:VPCO) rose $0.33, a 14.04% increase in value that moved the stock to a new closing price of $2.68. The stock has traded within a range of $2.09 to $10.00 over the past 52 weeks. Vapor Corp.(NASDAQ:VPCO) reported its second quarter financial results on Aug. 14th. The figures included a net loss of $1.1 million and $3.3 million decrease in cash. Vapor Corp. currently has a market capitalization of $38.79 million.

Nuvilex Inc(OTCMKTS:NVLX) suffered a 1.59% decrease in value as the stock fell $0.004 to finish the day at a new closing price of $0.241. The stock has closed within a range of $0.21 to $0.33 over the past three months. On Aug. 20th, Nuvilex Inc(OTCMKTS:NVLX) announced that it had commenced preclinical studies as its Scottsdale, Arizona facilities. The purpose of the studies is to determine if the company’s cancer treatment option can slow the growth of fluid in the abdomen.
