Could Globalstar’s Products Be Useless?
New York, NY – GDP INSIDER – 10/03/2014.
This articles discusses the products, conference presentations, expansion, and services of Globalstar, Inc.(NYSEMKT:GSAT).
Satellite mobile voice and data communications services company Globalstar, Inc.(NYSEMKT:GSAT) has seen its value decline recently due to rumors of that a report from Kerrisdale Capital Management LLC will demonstrate the ineffectiveness of the company’s services. As stated, these are merely rumors. However, they have resulted in a seventy-six cent loss since Sept. 29th, 2014.
While we cannot know what it is that Kerrisdale Capital Management will have to say about the Louisiana-based company, it can be confirmed that the company plans to offers its Simplex services through a Gateway to be constructed in Botswana. The station would provide services across southern Africa and would provide the company’s tracking and emergency services, which Globalstar believes would be of benefit to several markets in the area.
Furthermore, the company has also recently made an effort to attend and present at conferences, including Imperial Capitals 8th Annual Global Opportunities Conference in New York and the Bank of America Merill Lynch’s 2014 Medical, Communications and Entertainment Conference in California. These presentations came shortly after the company released its Globalstar 9600 product, which enables owners to connect their Wi-Fi devices and send and receive email over a satellite network.
While the company’s efforts would prove to be in vain if the rumors of the ineffectiveness of Globalstar’s worthlessness are true, there’s clearly quite a bit to like about this company’s long-term potential.
