Over the past one week and over the past four weeks, the shares of Walter Energy, Inc has lost 21.72% and 43.98% in value, respectively. Not only that, but the company has also been declining since the beginning of the year and is now down 55.80% year to date, compared to the S&P 500, which has increased 0.75% since the beginning of this year. However, with a one year target estimate of $1.59 and RSI of 38.71 there is still room to improve, making it a hold.
Anthera Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:ANTH) jumped 18.70% as the stock gained $0.75 to move to a new closing price of $4.76 following the announcement of public offering of shares of its common stock . The underwriters also have the option to buy 15% of common stock shares within 30-days. More than 4.39 million shares exchanged hands yesterday compared with its three month average trading volume of 1.30 million. The $104.52 million market cap company, which oscillated between $4.17 and $5 during yesterday’s trading, currently situated 226% above its 52 week low of $1.46. However, Anthera Pharmaceuticals Inc lost 4.83% during afterhours trading to move to a value of $4.53.
The US-based biopharmaceutical company has been doing well so far this year gaining 201.57% YTD and outperforming the S&P 500 index, which is only up 0.75% for the same period. With RSI of 52.10 and MFI of 56.31, the stock is currently trading around its current natural level and has a one year target estimate of $6.75 making it a hold for now.
