MGIC Investment Corp.(NYSE:MTG) suffered a 1.20% decrease in value as the stock fell $0.11 to finish the day at a new closing price of $9.07. The $3.07 billion market cap company, which has a bid price of 8.88×100 and an offer price of 9.25×200, has price to earnings ratio of 14.89 and a beta of 3.38, meaning the stock is 228% more volatile than the market. The US-based private mortgage insurer had a trading volume of 2.88 million yesterday, a figure which is significantly lower than its 30-day average trading volume of 5.88 million. MGIC Investment Corp currently stands at a weekly performance of 1.23% and a monthly performance of 4.73%.

Hersha Hospitality Trust(NYSE:HT), which fluctuated between $6.43 and $6.60 during intraday trading after opening the day at $6.55, saw a minuscule loss of five cents yesterday, a 0.76% decline in value that moved the stock to a new closing price of $6.51. The $1.42 billion market cap company, which has traded within a range of $5.22 and $7.49 over the past 52 weeks, has an insider ownership of 2.30%, insider transactions of -18.64%, institutional ownership of 99.70% and 3-month change in institutional ownership of -0.65%. Hersha Hospitality Trust has a price target estimate of $7.75 and analysts’ mean recommendation of 2.30. (1= BUY, 5=SELL)
