            On Aug. 12th, Cyberworld Studios, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Direct Equity International, reported that it will be releasing a mobile game version of the record-breaking motion picture Avatar in October. Surprisingly, the press release did not explicitly list Avatar, the 2009 James Cameron film, as the film upon which the game is based. Instead, the press release referred to the film’s gross of $2.788 billion dollars and its status as the highest grossing movie ever made. Regardless, with Avatar sequels on the way, Cyberworld’s mobile game app could prove to be a winner.

FreeSeas Inc(NASDAQ:FREE) suffered a 4.44% loss during Friday’s trading as the stock fell $0.033. With a closing price of $0.711, the stock is now situated just $0.291 above its 52 week low of $0.42. To contrast, the stock’s distance from its 52 week high of $4.64 grew to a figure of $3.929. The Greece-based drybulk shipping services company, which regained $0.014 during after-hours trading, has a market capitalization of $25.5 million with 35.86 million tradable shares.

On Aug. 14th, FreeSeas Inc. announced that it had regained compliance with NASDAQ’s $2.5 million stockholders’ equity rule. As a result, the company will maintain its NASDAQ listing. FreeSeas attributed the stockholders’ equity growth, which had reached a figure of $37,563,000 on Jun. 30Th, to the company’s $15 million debt settlement and its May 2014 $25 million public offering.
