The stock, which traded within a range of $5.98 and $6.08 during the day, remained $1.33 above its 52-week low of $5.36 and $5.44 below its 52-week high of $11.47. The company has recently slashed 452 jobs at its Kansas headquarters as first installment of its latest job cuts.
AT&T Inc.(NYSE:T) enjoyed an increase of 44 cents in its price to close the day at $34.08, an increase of 1.31% during the last trading session on October 17. The stock traded $2.34 above its 52-week low of $31.74 and $3.4 below its 52-week high of $37.48. On Friday, analysts at Citigroup Inc reissued ‘Neutral’ rating to AT&T’s stock with a price objective of $34 on the stock.
Alcatel Lucent SA (ADR)(NYSE:ALU) saw its value increase by 1.69% to close the day at $2.40, an increase of 4 cents in its price. On October 13, the company signed an agreement with KT Corporation, formerly known as Korea Telecom, to adopt Network Functions Virtualization infrastructure. Alcatel Lucent’s Return on Investment is below 6.30% while its Return on Equity is lower than 17.90%.
