Northern, WI 05/02/2013 (GDPInsider) –  Entravision Communication (NYSE:EVC) is up 7.29% having started the day’s trading at 3.80. The stock has a range of 3.78 and 4.05 on volume of 780.55. Entravision brings Spanish-related media to Hispanic consumers across the United States and the border markets of Mexico. Using a combination of radio and television the company has solidified itself as leader in providing content and reach to the millions of Hispanic consumers in the United States. The company recently announced a multiplatform campaign to help boost voter turnout in mayoral elections in the Los Angeles area. The company plans to air a series of public service announcements (PSA) on its three Los Angeles radio stations culminating in vote day slated for May 21, 2013.

The stock has been showing gains and this is represented by a northward sloping technical chart which has been trending since December 2012. EVC is up 40.01% on its 50-day simple moving average and up 18.47% on its 20-day simple moving average. Analysts have set a target price of 3.75 and the stock has a RSI of 65.87.

Axcelis Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:ACLS) is up 6.56% in today’s trading and started the day at 1.25. The stock has a range of 1.23 and 1.31 with a volume of 248.84K. ACLS is trading 9.66% below its 52-week high of 1.45 and 84.49% above its 52-week low of 0.71. The company recently announced the introduction of the the Purion XE next generation single wafer high energy implanter. This new implanter is the second in the growing list of implanters offered by Axcelis Technologies.

The introduction of this new technology is expected to boost the company’s role in the design and manufacturing and supply of semiconductor chip components. “The Purion platform redefines what chipmakers have come to expect from an ion implanter.  It represents the most significant advance in next generation ion implanter platform design, and we’re excited to expand the Purion into the high energy segment,” said senior VP Bill Blintz in a statement.

ACLS has a RSI of 60.04 and analysts have set a target price of 2.00 for the stock. At present trading values the stock is up 9.45% on its 50-day simple moving average and 7.94% on its 20-day simple moving average.
