General Wesley clark joins The Blackstone Group L.P. (NYSE:BX)

(NYSE:BX) has announced that they have appointed former NATO Supreme Allied Commander General Wesley Clark and former International Finance Corporation head Lars Thunell, as Fisterra’s Board of Director. General Clark’s breadth of knowledge and experience will serve as an invaluable asset to Blackstone and Fisterra. General Clark and Lars Thunell will look after the firm’s private equity activities in the energy sector and will serve as the Senior Advisors to Blackstone.

Lars Thunell has said that Fisterra has the right team and are capable to develop affordable, safe and reliable power projects which play a crucial role in strengthening economies and creating growth.
