Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc (NASDAQ:HALO): In Friday’s trading session, Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc (NASDAQ:HALO) up by 5.51%. It opened at $8.36 per share, touched an intraday high of $8.47 and dropped down to trade at $8.42 per share. Close to 0.76 million shares are traded in pre-market. This number stood above the average volume of 1.05 million that was measured over a 30-day period.

On 15 May, announced that clinical data from the PEGPH20 (PEGylated Recombinant Human Hyaluronidase) Phase 1B trial will be presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting 2013. This is an investigational new biologic that is used in conjunction with gemcitabine in the treatment of patients suffering from stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer.

It opened at $11.20 per share, touched an intraday high of $11.21 and dropped down to trade at $11 per share. Close to 0.36 million shares were traded in pre-market. This number stood below the average volume of 1.06 million that was measured over a 30-day period.

Boulder Brands, Inc was previously known as Smart Balance Inc. It markets functional food products in Canada and the United States under the Earth Balance, Smart Balance and Bestlife brands. It has other product offerings for which it utilizes its health and wellness brand leverage and positioning. This includes gluten-free products that are marketed under the Gluten-Free and Glutino Pantry brands, peanut butters, cooking oils, enhanced milks, popcorn and mayonnaise dressing. It sells Bestlife and Smart Balance products in mass merchandise, grocery and convenience stores. The Gluten-Free and Glutino Pantry products are marketed via conventional retail channels and natural food channels. It sells organic and natural organic products under the Earth Balance brand name in the natural food channel. Its products are available in all the states in the U.S.
