LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD) and T-Mobile International have been named the co-marketers of 2013 by the Direct Marketing Association. This is in recognition of demonstrating leadership, innovation and environmental and corporate responsibility. This presentation took place at the annual expo and conference that is held by the association.

LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD) was recognized for the leadership role that it played in social communications and for distributing opinions and news to its members from 1.5M publishers and other influential business-leaders. The DMA specifically recognized the company for the Sponsored-Updates advertising unit that delivers content to the news-feeds that members can see. These are generally from companies that they do not currently follow. This results in relationship building and lead generation said the DMA.
