Over the past one year, shares of MannKind Corporation (NASDAQ:MNKD) have almost tripled. After you take a look at MNKD’s market cap, the value of the company is an astounding 584%. This is attributed to all the additional shares that the company has sold. Instead, it seems that the price increase is merely because investors are now more interested in owning the company shares than they were last year. More buyers and fewer sellers will always mean that valuation or no valuation, the price will rise. There doesn’t seem to be any binary event in the near future.
