This is a video-based application that is used to meet new people and has been launched with a great deal of fanfare in the 2013 Q4 and was a phase of the company’s standalone app strategy. MeetMe Inc (NYSEMKT:MEET)’s Chief Executive officer, Geoff Cook stated that the company has just commenced with the Charm promotion on Android and that the company’s user-base has just started getting a taste of this fantastic new app.

He added that the company is very excited to see MeetMe Inc (NYSEMKT:MEET)’s cross-promotional power in adding momentum to various  Android apps and catapulting them into the Top-50 Social rankings in under 2  weeks. Even before the company’s  Android cross-promotion started, the users of  Charm had already connected up with in excess of  100,000 matches and over 700,000 messages had been sent out.  Cook said that Android is a much more popular platform on MeetMe Inc (NYSEMKT:MEET) and that the cross-promotion that had been actioned by the company this week, should see Charm getting a lot of action.
