On Tuesday, Micron Technology, Inc (NASDAQ:MU) announced that it has appointed Tom Snodgrass as the Vice-President of Systems Solutions. He will be responsible for the management of the company’s Systems Solutions business which focuses on delivering various enterprise class solutions to its numerous consumers.  Micron Technology, Inc (NASDAQ:MU) DRAM and NAND Flash memory are used for this purpose.

Snodgrass is an experienced hand in this field and brings over 30 years of technology-experience in different management roles. He has been handling different positions in various companies over the years and had been with managing storage-solutions for the last 13 years, at PMC-Sierra. At this company, he was the company’s vice-president of Corporate Strategy &Corporate Technology from 2011-2013. He was the vice-president, Product Development, at the company’s Enterprise Storage Division from 2003-2010.

In Tuesday’s trading, Micron Technology, Inc (NASDAQ:MU) dropped by 3.03%. The opening price of the shares was $18.60, which climbed to an intraday high of $18.65 and dipped to a close of $17.92. Approximately 57.01 million shares were traded on Tuesday while an average volume of 43.81 million shares were traded over a 30 day period. The 52-week low of Micron Technology, Inc (NASDAQ:MU) shares is $5.16 and its 52-week high is $18.85. The company has a market capitalization of $18.55 billion.
