New York, NY – GDP INSIDER – 05/04/2014.
This article discusses three companies: Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR), Incontact Inc (NASDAQ:SAAS) and Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:BRCD)
Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR) fell back with the stock reversing its recent upward gains to fall 1.43% or $0.010, to close at $0. 80 on Friday with only 4.666 million shares changing hands, compared to its three month average trading volume of 5.33 million. The stock has seen its value drop by 82% over the past one year, vastly underperforming the S&P 500 index which is up 11.87% for the same period. With one year target price estimate of $1.27 and RSI of 33 the stock is trading around its proper value, but there is no significant upside potential in the stock at this time, making it a sell rather than hold.
Incontact Inc (NASDAQ:SAAS) fell back slightly on Friday with the stock declining 1.45% or $0.15 to close down at $10.20 on light trading of 0.392 million shares, compared to its three month average trading volume of 0.584 million. The stock has been making strong gains of late, with the stock reaching a 52 week high of $11.93 at the beginning of March. With quarterly revenue growth of 40.70% year on year and RSI of 38, Incontact Inc has a lot of upside potential once the market corrects from Friday’s decline, making the stock a strong hold and potential buy.
Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:BRCD) gained $0.35 to finish the day at a new closing price of $11.65. It underperformed the sector on Friday but was up by 3% in trading. The shares continue to trade towards the top of their 52-week range. Brocade Communications Systems is a provider of storage area networking and Internet protocol networking solutions. Brocade’s recent decline moved it below its exponential moving average, and it could see further downward momentum. Both the RSI and MFI indicators of 44.12 and 47.52 show no clear signs of support or strong indicator one way or the other, hold for now.
