American Airlines Group Inc(NASDAQ:AAL) announced a bonus mile promotion for the 2015 calendar year on Dec. 15th. The new offering makes the AAdvantage program “the most generous in the industry,” according to the press release. The stock has traded within a range of $24.63 to $51.75 over the past 52 weeks, yet finished yesterday’s trading at a closing price of $48.80 after a 1.75% boost of eighty-four cents. American Airlines Group has a beta of 3.85, which means that the company’s stock is 285% more volatile than the market.
SPROTT RESOURCE CP(OTCMKTS:SCPZF) has traded within a range of $1.20 to $3.06 over the past 52 weeks, yet finished yesterday’s trading at a closing price of $1.33 after a 6.91% boost of nine cents. While the low closing price could scare off investors, it could also indicate that Sprott Resource Corp. is at a strong buy-low price. However, it is worth noting that the company has an earnings per share (TTM) of $-0.38.
