Mueller Water Products, Inc. (NYSE:MWA) had a difficult day yesterday in trading.  Its shares decreased by 4.8% to $9.71 after it reported its 2Q 2015 results.  Net sales increased just 1% in the quarter to $290 million and EPS were $0.08.  The company also announced a $50 million share repurchase program on Wednesday.  The MFI for the stock is at 43 and the MACD just crossed the signal line. The stock was on a slight upward move since a big decline in early February.  The crossover could signal the stock will continue to decline in price.  We are concerned and forecast a lower price for the stock.

Owens-Illinois Inc (NYSE:OI) shares declined by 3.8% on Wednesday to $24.19 after it reported 1Q 2015 earnings.  The stock is up just 3.6% year-to-date compared to the S&P 500 that has increased by 5.6%.  In our view, neither the RSI nor the MFI indicate any sort of technical move ahead at values of 49 and 44, respectively.  The decline yesterday was on high volume of 4.9 million shares which is more than double the 1.7 million daily average volume.  Foreign currency was a larger than expected headwind in the quarter and offset better than expected performance in the Americas.
