Allied Nevada Gold Corp.(NYSEMKT:ANV) released its full year preliminary production and sales results for 2014, according to which the gold production jumped 10.7% to 214,000 oz. in 2014 compared with 191,000 oz in 2013, while silver production surged 104% to 1.82 million oz. from 0.88 million oz. The stock fell 8.73% during Friday’s trading session and closed its day at a new closing price of $1.15. This mark places the stock 59.72% above its 52-week high of $0.72 and -82.94% below its 52-week high of $6.70. Analysts at HC Wainright hold a buy rating on the shares of Allied Nevada Gold Corp.

EXCO Resources Inc(NYSE:XCO) traded within a range of $1.78 to $1.94 after opening the day at $1.90 and slid 5.13% to close its trading session on Friday at a new closing price of $1.85. The $506.50 million market cap company had a trading volume of 3.60 million, which is lower than its 30-day average trading volume of 3.97 million. Not only that, but the company also has a poor earnings per share (ttm) of $-0.43, which could scare off potential investors. Simply put, EXCO Resources Inc is on the decline.
