Three New Versions Of Xbox From Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has announced 3 new bundles for its Xbox 360. These new bundles will be launched in the holiday season. The company has revealed that 2 of these bundles have a $299 price tag and include a 250GB system. This includes a Halo 4 & Tomb Raider copy. Alternatively, people can buy a 4GB system with Kinect Sports or Kinect sensor-Season Two & Kinect Adventures.
The 3rd option is the bundle that is priced at $399.99. It features a 250GB console, Kinect Sports: Season Two & Kinect Adventures and the Kinect sensor. It will also have a Forza Horizon copy. All these bundles have 1 month of Xbox Live-Gold service. What is a little puzzling is that the Xbox One that is slated for a November release is priced fractionally higher at $499.
Thus it is not very clear why the company has packaged a version that is to be replaced soon, at $399. For hardcore gamers who have been eagerly waiting for the Xbox One, the launch is right round the corner with its 22 November launch. In North America, it will retail for $499 while the Sony PS4 is all set for a 15 November launch, at $399.00.
