United HealthGroup Inc (NYSE:UNH) is a diversified health and well-being company dedicated to help people to live healthier lives and making health care work better. It has announced its partnership with the Enterprise Investment Community Inc (Enterprise) for three new rental housing development communities in New Mexico.

The company with the Enterprise has invested a sum of $22 million in the three housing projects which have been developed for the families with low income, seniors, people with special needs and the ones who are on d verge being homeless. The collaboration of two different industry’s company has been successful to build the communities through Low Income Housing Tax Credit and has already inaugurated two of its housing communities. These housing communities have helped a total of 179 families to own a shelter and have created nearly 300 construction and permanent jobs in the state.

The Governor of New Mexico Susana Martinez has pleasingly said that such collaboration is an example to strengthen the communities locally to whom they render their services. She was pleased with the efforts of the company to work together with the government agencies to help in improving the lives of the Mexicans.

The company has provided more than $100 million in financing the community development projects through its Affordable Housing Investment Program in United States which comprises nearly $54 million financing in alliance with the Enterprise.  Through its diversified business, the company is serving more than 80 million people across the globe.

Aetna Inc (NYSE:AET) is one of the nation’s leading diversified health care benefit companies which serves more than 44 million people with information and resources which helps in making better decisions about their health care. The company has announced that it will be the corporate sponsor for the 5-K Centennial Walk and Health Fair organized by the Delta Research and Educational Foundation’s.
