Mitek Systems, Inc.(NASDAQ:MITK) fell fifty-cents during yesterday’s trading, an 18.03% decrease in value that left the stock at a closing price of $2.50. The stock notably traded for as little as $2.15 during the day, a new 52 week low for the company that has recorded a high of $7.11 during the same period. The California-based software solutions company suffered a substantial loss today as a result of the report that Mitek’s patent infringement claims against USAA had been dismissed by the federal court.

Banro Corporation (USA)(NYSEMKT:BAA) enjoyed a 4.03% increase in value during yesterday’s trading as the stock gained $0.007 to finish the day at a closing price of $0.188. However, the most notable news for the company came during after-hours trading. The Ontario-based gold properties development company rose $0.052, a 27.46% increase in value that moved the stock to the $0.24 mark. Late Monday afternoon, Banro announced a new financing plan that includes the closing of a $35.5 million liquidity backstop facility.

Flexible Solutions International, Inc.(NYSEMKT:FSI) saw its value increase by 23.2% yesterday. The stock gained twenty-nine cents to finish the day at a closing price of $1.54. The stock has gained an additional eight cents during after-hours trading to reach a new 52 week low of $1.62. On Aug. 14th, the company announced its second quarter financial results. Flexible Solutions International announced an accounting net income of $399,753, or three cents per share, as opposed to $70,169, or one cent per share, during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
